Netherlands: Pay rose 2% in 2006
According to the CBS national statistics bureau, average collectively agreed pay rose by 2% in 2006, while inflation stood at 1.1%. This was the widest gap since 1999, and contrasted strongly with the previous year, when average pay increases, at 0.7%, were below inflation.
