Norway: Pay rises exceed expectations
Figures from the Technical Reporting Committee for Income Settlements (TBU) indicate that wage growth in 2007 has been much faster than it was assumed it would be during the spring collective bargaining round.
In late March, the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO) and the Confederation of Norwegian Business and Industry (NHO) reached a pay agreement for 2007, covering the whole of the private sector.
