Office politics: Temp workers blow the whistle

The average office worker downs tools for more than an hour every day to engage in office politics, according to temporary staff surveyed by recruitment firm Reed Executive.

The 1,699 temps report that power struggles are the predominant form of water-cooler politics, with sex and affairs between staff accounting for just 2% of time-wasting.
