Pension scheme numbers continue to decline

The Office for National Statistics has published its second survey of occupational pension schemes, which shows that not only are large numbers of employers closing their DB schemes, but also that there has been a reduction in the number of open DC occupational plans; we highlight these and other findings of the survey.
