Portugal: Minimum wage increases agreed
The statutory national minimum wage has been increased by 4.4% from January 2007, rising from €385.90 to €403 per month. The increase is considerably higher than the forecast inflation rate of 2.1% and compares with increases of 3% in 2006 and 2.5% in 2005.
