"Serious damage" for retail if minimum wage rises
Further substantial increases in the national minimum wage (NMW) will be damaging to the retail industry, warns UK trade association the British Retail Consortium (BRC)1.
In its submission to the Low Pay Commission (LPC), the BRC argues that retailers of all sizes are now finding it difficult to control the impact of the latest uprating.
