Spain: Workplace accidents down in 2008
The rate of workplace accidents fell by more than 10% in 2008, according to Ministry of Labour figures published in March 2009.
Spain has one of the EU's highest industrial accident rates and tackling the problem has been a central issue in government policy and industrial relations for many years.
