Sweden: Bargaining in manufacturing approaches completion
The 2007 bargaining round in manufacturing industry has progressed rapidly after three-year agreements were concluded in metalworking in mid-March, providing for a total average pay increase of 10.2%.
The metalworking settlements, as usual, set the pace for the 30 other bargaining units in manufacturing, which has 550,000 employees.
