UK laws on workplace and PPE are just fine, says HSE

Ten years after coming into force, the workplace and personal protective equipment Regulations are having an increasingly beneficial effect on health and safety.

HSE analysis of returns to two on-line questionnaires reveal that employers and safety representatives believe that the Regulations have resulted in greater awareness of health and safety issues and improved employee safety behaviour (see table below).
