The final stage of a three-year pay and conditions agreement at Lafarge Cement UK has resulted in a 3.4% increase on basic salaries, salary scales and allowances. The agreement was negotiated between the company, formerly known as Blue Circle, and its recognised trade unions - Amicus, the GMB, the TGWU and the British Cement Staff Association.
