3.9% pay settlement in Waitrose stores

More than 33,000 staff employed by Waitrose, the supermarket division of John Lewis, received pay increases worth between 2% and 6.5%, effective from 26 March 2006.

For store employees this year's pay review resulted in a 3.9% overall increase on contractual pay with approximately 0.5% of this figure used for performance-related awards.
