Austria: Pension rules changed
The Austrian parliament has recently adopted government proposals amending the legislation on calculating state pensions for workers with a long service record and for those who retire early.
A series of public pension reforms introduced over 2000–04 (EER 377 p.34) raised the normal retirement age, ultimately to 65 for both women and men.
