BBC Resources: Staff accept 2.5% pay offer

Members of Bectu, the Broadcasting, Entertainment, Cinematograph and Theatre Union, have voted to accept a pay and conditions offer tabled by BBC Resources that provides for a headline pay increase of 2.5% for the organisation's 1,100 employees, effective from 1 April 2006. The union had originally claimed a 13.8% increase.
