Belgium: Far-right party disputes members' exclusion from trade unions
The extreme right-wing Flemish Interest party (Vlaams Belang, VB) has taken the social democratic (FGTB/ABVV) and Christian (CSC/ACV) trade union confederations to court to contest the unions' exclusion of VB members.
This follows local elections in 2006, when more than 200 union members stood for the VB.
