Boots Manufacturing: 3% increase

Approximately 1,300 production workers employed at Boots Manufacturing's Beeston site in Nottingham have agreed a pay and conditions settlement that increases basic rates by 3%, effective from 1 June 2005.
Shift allowances rise in line with the general award, and are now:
two-shift - £2,508 a year;
two-shift (nine-day fortnights) - £2,258;
three-shift - £3,415;
permanent mornings - £773;
permanent afternoons - £3,091;
permanent nights - £4,099; and
alternating days and nights - £2,049.
