Retail employees at Budgens Stores, part of the Musgrave Budgens Londis group, have seen basic pay rates increase by 20p an hour, effective from 1 October 2005.
The increase means a 4.1% basic rise for the majority of staff based in provincial stores, who are on the company's general assistant grade (grade C), in order to line up pay with the uprating of the national minimum wage (NMW) to £5.05 an hour, also effective from October 2005.
