Committees urge MEPs to toughen asbestos Directive
Two influential committees want a further tightening of proposed exposure limits for work with asbestos put forward by the European Commission.
The Commission has adopted a proposal to amend Directive 83/477/EEC on the protection of workers from risks related to exposure to asbestos at work (EU proposes cutting "reasonably practicable" from asbestos regs).
