Negotiations on the multi-employer agreement that covers manual workers in the corrugated packaging industry have resulted in a 3.37% pay rise, yielding flat-rate, new-money, increases in adult day work rates of between £6.53 and £8.13 a week. The deal, with effect from 5 September 2005, also raises the weekly minimum earnings level by £7.48 from £221.63 to £229.11 for a 37.5-hour week.
