Council: December social affairs Council

The most recent social affairs Council has reached partial political agreement on the proposal to reform Regulation 1408/71 on the application of social security schemes to employed persons moving within the EU.

Ministers gathered in Brussels on 1 and 2 December for an employment and social policy Council, at which partial political agreement was reached on the proposal to reform Regulation 1408/71 on the application of social security schemes to employed persons moving within the Community.
