The Department of Trade and Industry's (DTI) trade unions - PCS, Prospect and the FDA - have voted to accept the department's final pay offer of an award worth 3.7% of the paybill from 1 August 2005, with an additional 0.6% of the paybill to fund performance awards. Employees receive total awards which range from 0% to more than 8%, with the majority receiving pay rises of between 2.7% to 4.5%.
