EC: Social policy state of play
The second half of 2002, under the direction of the Danish government, saw the adoption of the Directive on protection for employees in the event of the insolvency of their employer and the Directive on protection against exposure to noise. It also saw the formal signing of the EU-level social partners' framework agreement on telework.
