Employee blacklist shunned by business
A government-sanctioned national blacklist of staff sacked for dishonesty is struggling to attract employers because they are worried about the risk of bad publicity, Personnel Today has learned.
By 1 December, just 10 businesses had signed up to join the National Staff Dismissal Register, launched in May.
