Employers should be involved in rehabilitation pilots, says DWP committee

The House of Commons Work and Pensions (DWP) Committee has criticised the government for not involving employers in its latest initiatives on vocational rehabilitation.

In an interim report1 on the various schemes designed to increase the employment rate of disabled people, the Committee welcomes the rehabilitation pilots outlined in the government Green Paper Pathways to work, published last November (see The glimmer of a national rehabilitation service ).
