Employers to be fined for non-payment of minimum wage
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has published its policy on issuing penalties for non-payment of the national minimum wage1. This follows the chancellor of the exchequer's statement in his pre-Budget announcement that more resources would be devoted to the enforcement of the minimum wage.
