Enforcement: Foreign firms may be forced to pay fines
The European Parliament is backing an initiative making it impossible for non-UK companies to avoid paying fines imposed by UK courts.
The initiative, led by the UK, France and Sweden, will establish mutual recognition of legal judgments within the EU.
