Enforcement: Gas fitter jailed for prohibition breach

A gas fitter has become the fourth person to receive a prison sentence for contravening an HSE prohibition notice. Mark Towle, who was jailed for four months for carrying out gas fitting work in contravention of the notice, is the first gas fitter and the sixth person in all to be jailed under HSW Act-related legislation.
