EU Commission: Advisory group recommends action to boost ethnic minority employment

In December 2007, a high-level advisory group of experts, set up by the European Commission to examine obstacles to the labour market participation of people from ethnic minorities, issued its recommendations.

The independent group, chaired by Rita Süssmuth, a former German minister, was established by the commission in January 2006.
