EU commission: Changes proposed to globalisation fund
The European Commission has suggested a number of amendments to increase the take-up of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF), an EU-level scheme that provides help to redundant workers.
The EGF was set up in December 2006 (by Regulation EC No.1927/2006).
