EU Commission: Commission consults on restructuring

The European Commission launched the first stage of social partner consultations on the issue of corporate restructuring on 15 January. It asks the social partners for their views on the need for an EU-level framework governing "socially intelligent" restructuring and also on the need for EU-level mechanisms to resolve industrial disputes.
