EU Commission: European Private Company proposed
In June 2008, the European Commission proposed legislation on a European Private Company - a uniform company form that small and medium-sized firms could use to operate across the EU - which includes provisions on employee participation arrangements.
On 25 June 2008, the European Commission unveiled the "Small Business Act for Europe".
