EU: Council adopts employment law Directives
At a meeting of the Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs (ESPCO) Council on 8 March 2010, EU employment ministers adopted Directives on parental leave and the prevention of sharps injuries in hospitals and healthcare.
The March meeting was the first formal EPSCO Council during Spain's EU Presidency of the first half of 2010.
