EU: Council agrees on revised Parental Leave Directive
EU employment ministers reached agreement on an amended version of the Parental Leave Directive at a Council meeting on 30 November to 1 December 2009.
The Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council reached political agreement on the draft Directive repealing and replacing the 1996 Parental Leave Directive (96/34/EC).
