EU Council: Regulation clarifies which national law applies to employment contracts
A new EU Regulation, published in July 2008, clarifies the law applying to employment contracts that have connections with more than one member state.
Regulation (EC) no.593/2008 on the law applicable to contractual obligations was formally adopted by the European Parliament and the Council of the EU on 17 June 2008 and published in the Official Journal on 4 July.
