EU Council: Slovenian presidency sets out priorities
Slovenia took over the EU Council presidency for a six-month term in January 2008. In the employment and social field, its priorities include launching the next cycle of the Lisbon jobs and growth strategy, "flexicurity", youth employment, demographic change and equality.
