EU: Dialogue committee set up in metalworking

In January 2010, the European-level organisations representing employers and trade unions in the metal, engineering and technology-based industries launched an EU social dialogue committee.

Sectoral social dialogue committees are official EU-level bodies recognised and supported by the European Commission, which bring together representatives of employers and employees in the industry concerned.
