EU: Directive approved on equal treatment between self-employed women and men

At a meeting of the Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs (ESPCO) Council on 7 and 8 June 2010, EU employment ministers heard that agreement had been reached on the draft Directive on equal treatment between self-employed women and men, which will now be rapidly adopted.

The June meeting was the second and final EPSCO Council during Spain's six-month EU Presidency.
