EU: Paper industry launches formal social dialogue
The European-level organisations representing employers and trade unions in the paper industry applied in November 2009 to create a formal EU social dialogue committee for the sector.
The pulp and paper industry employs 264,000 people directly and 1.8 million indirectly in Europe.
