EU social partners: Agency work social partners sign joint declaration on draft Directive

In May 2008, the European-level social partners in the temporary agency employment sector signed a joint declaration on the controversial draft EU Directive on the working conditions of agency workers.

The draft Directive on working conditions for temporary agency workers, initially proposed by the European Commission in 2002, aims to establish a common EU-level legal framework to regulate temporary agency work.
