EU social partners: ETUC congress calls for EU-wide union 'offensive'
The European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) held its four-yearly congress in Seville, Spain on 21–24 May 2007. It adopted a manifesto setting out a new strategy for action until 2011, including an "offensive" on the social, economic, political and environmental fronts.
