EU: Social partners launch negotiations on implementing ILO Convention
European-level trade unions and employers' organisations opened talks in October 2010 over an agreement that would implement in EU law a 2007 International Labour Organisation (ILO) Convention on working conditions in the fishing industry.
ILO Convention no.188 on work in fishing (on the ILO website) was adopted by the ILO conference in 2007.
