European Commission: Details emerge of forthcoming draft Directives on migrant workers
In September 2007, the European Commission gave a preview of the content of two draft Directives on the employment of migrant workers from outside the EU, which it plans to issue before the end of the year.
In 2005, the European Council adopted an EU-wide "global approach to migration".
