European Council: Adoption of electromagnetic exposure Directive
On 7 April 2004 the Council adopted the Directive protecting workers from exposure to electromagnetic fields.
Protection of workers against exposure to electromagnetic fields was originally contained in a single proposal dating from 1992 and covering four types of physical agents: vibration, noise, electromagnetic fields, and optical radiation.
