European Council: June social affairs

Employment and social policy ministers gathered in Luxembourg on 1 and 2 June 2004 to discuss social security coordination, the employment package, the possibility of creating a European gender institute and the draft Directive against discrimination in goods and services.

This Council meeting was held under the outgoing Irish Presidency of the Council of ministers, which expired on 30 June 2004.
