European Court of Justice: Five member states fail to implement consultation Directive
Between March and September 2007, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruled that Belgium, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg and Spain had failed to implement the 2002 EU Directive on the information and consultation of workers.
Directive 2002/14/EC establishing a general framework for informing and consulting employees was adopted on 11 March 2002.
