European parliament amends optical radiation Directive
On 7 September 2005, the European parliament gave a second reading to the proposal for a Directive to protect workers against optical radiation. It has removed the obligation on employers to take measures to protect workers against exposure to sunlight, devolving this responsibility to national governments.
