European parliament: CSR resolution adopted
At its plenary session on 12-15 March 2007, the European parliament (EP) adopted a resolution on "corporate social responsibility: a new partnership" , intended to feed into the continuing EU-level discussion on the issue and specifically responding to a March 2006 European Commission communication 1.
The EU-level debate is currently largely centred on the work of the EU multi-stakeholder forum on corporate social responsibility (CSR), set up in 2002.
