European Parliament resolution on working time Directive
On 11 February 2004, the European Parliament (EP) issued a resolution on the revision of the EU working time Directive. It calls on the Commission to revise the provision that allows individuals to opt out of the maximum 48-hour working week, with a view to phasing it out.
