European Parliament votes to amend information and consultation proposal

At its October plenary session, the European Parliament (EP) voted to accept many, although not all, of the amendments proposed by its employment and social affairs committee on 9 October to the Council's common position text regarding the proposal for a Directive on the information and consultation of workers. This common position was agreed at the 11 June employment and social policy Council.
