European Works Councils: EWC agreed for ArcelorMittal
Arcelor and Mittal Steel are in the process of merging to form ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel producer. On 9 July 2007, an agreement was signed creating a single European Works Council for the group, replacing the former EWCs in the two merging companies.
