Finland: Three-year agreements signed in food industry
On 5 April 2007, the Finnish Food Workers’ Union (SEL) and the Finnish Food and Drink Industries' Federation (ETL) concluded new three-year collective agreements for the food industry, following difficult negotiations and an overtime ban called by the union.
Most sectors of the Finnish economy (employing about 90% of the workforce) are covered by the current national incomes policy agreement, which was signed in November 2004 and runs until September 2007.
